Local processing
Liptyper transcribes speech and performs text cleanup locally on Apple Silicon using on-device models. Your audio is not uploaded to Liptyper, a Liptyper server, or a cloud transcription provider.
Local files
Liptyper stores settings, vocabulary corrections, and optional transcription history on your Mac in Application Support. These files are used to make dictation faster and more useful for you.
History
If transcription history is enabled, recent entries are saved locally so you can find and re-paste them. You can disable history or clear it from the app settings.
Support
If you email [email protected], you choose what information to send. Diagnostic reports may include app status and permission checks, but you should not send private transcripts unless you want them reviewed for support.
Website and checkout
The website and checkout provider may process ordinary web and purchase information needed to deliver the app. Liptyper does not use that information to access your local audio, transcripts, vocabulary, or history.
